Cake Batter, Anyone?!

Cake Batter Frappe…..a new love of mine!

I wish I could say that I invented this recipe.

It is…really good!!

I found this link online and decided I would give it a try.

Soo glad I did!

Cake Batter Frappe

Ingredients
  • 1cup Unsweetened Almond Milk,
  • ¼ cup low-fat Cottage Cheese
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 1-2 TB Truvia
  • 1 scoop unsweetened Vanilla Whey Protein
  • ¼ tsp Glucomannon powder (optional)
  • ⅛ tsp Butter extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • approx. 2 cups cubed ice
  • ⅛ tsp Almond extract
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients except ice.
  2. Check and adjust sweetness to taste. Blend again if needed.
  3. Add ice (you will find how much you want...the size of my cubes equals to be about 2cups ice...or 18 cubes).
  4. Enjoy!

      I was wondering the same thing but I looked up the ingredient list for FP and it looks like it fits for an FP. It’s low carb and low in fat

      It’s also an FP bc it’s less than 300 calories!:) yay!

    Absolutely delicious! I switched the cottage cheese to Greek yogurt and used a Weight Watcher Vanilla smoothie packet…yummy!

    I don’t know what happened, I followed the directions but this tasted terrible! It tasted like a weird, tangy, cream cheese mix, even though I kept adding sweetener 🙁 Any ideas how to fix it? I think the cottage cheese I used was really sour. Do you use a certain brand?

    OMG!!! Thank you sooooo much for sharing this! I’m enjoying it a I type this! I used THM Gentle Sweet for he Truvia and my lord this thing is absolutely divine!
